We keep the minimum a bookshop needs, and nothing more. The data controller is Cover to Cover, a sole trader established in Pakistan, reachable at support@covertocoverpress.com.

What we store. Your email address; your subscription, meaning its status, its dates and the customer and subscription numbers Paddle gives it; where you are in each book; sign-in records; any support message you send us, with our reply; and a copy of the emails we have sent you, so we can tell you what was delivered when you say nothing arrived. Reader feedback on a chapter is stored without any address attached to it.

Why we are allowed to. We process your email address and subscription because we need them to perform the contract you entered into when you subscribed. Sign-in records and delivery copies rest on our legitimate interest in a service that is secure and supportable.

Who processes what. Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record; we never see card numbers. Sign-in emails are delivered by Postmark. The site is hosted on Railway and served through Cloudflare, whose access logs record visitors' IP addresses for security and abuse prevention. Visits are counted by Plausible, which uses no cookies and stores no personal data. These providers operate in the United States and the European Union, so your data may be processed outside your own country under the safeguards those providers offer.

Cookies. One essential cookie keeps you signed in. There are no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why there is no cookie banner.

How long we keep it. Sign-in codes and links stop working within the hour. Everything else is kept until you delete your account or ask us to, so that your place in each book is still there if you come back after your subscription ends.

Deleting it. You can erase everything we hold about you yourself, from My books, and it happens immediately. Or ask us at support@covertocoverpress.com and we will do it within 30 days. Either way, a live subscription is cancelled first, at once, and access ends with it.

No selling, no ads. Your data is never sold or shared for advertising.

Your rights. Email support@covertocoverpress.com to see, correct or export what we hold about you; deletion you can do yourself from My books. If you think we have handled your data badly, you may complain to the data protection authority where you live.
